I know, this one's off season and all, but understand that the whole concept of a journal jar is to pull slips of paper out of a jar at random so…

"What did you do with Halloween candy as a child?  Were you a saver, a hoarder, or a trader?"

In answer to this question, I was more of a snarfer.  I mean that honestly.  Left to my own devices, as a child, I would cheerfully have sat and eaten the whole load I brought home on Halloween Night.  My parents, thankfully enough, had the sense to impose limits on our candy consumption so that we couldn't make ourselves sick.

Nowadays, I do tend to keep a small stash of candy, but it never lasts longer than a week at the very most.  That means, assuming I want to lose weight, I can't keep any candy in the house at all.
